Wild hog (Sus scrofa) are a non-native and invasive species which exists in all 67 counties of Florida; especially on the Lake Wales Ridge. Populations have existed here for hundreds of years. They disturb the soil and ground cover vegetation and leave the area looking like it has been plowed. They also tend to carry seeds of invasive plant species with them, and add them to the freshly plowed ground. Wild hogs may be trapped, shot or hunted year-round with no fees, licenses or permits required (including when using a gun and light during non-daylight hours).

We, at Three Psilos, Inc., do not relish the destruction of any animals, but understand the problems posed by massive agricultural destruction brought about by invasive, non-native species.

Have an ecologist from Three Psilos, Inc. hunt and remove adult feral swine from your property, under only the highest possible ethical standards. Wearing the most effective camouflage available for the Lake Wales Ridge and the area under consideration, and using a specialized, fully-suppressed weapon, legally licensed by the ATF, and designed specifically for wild hog, we are able to minimize the suffering of the hunted. Further, each wild hog obtained is fully consumed as food, feeding many native species, including vulture. Nothing is ever wasted.
